Residential Subdivisions
Over the past 30 years, Capitol Underground has successfully completed several hundred water and sewer installations for residential subdivisions. We have worked with numerous real estate developers located in Dane County and other surrounding counties. These projects range in size from fewer than 10 lots to upwards of 450 lots.
The frequency of projects completed with repeat customers and in negotiated contracts is a testimony to our customer satisfaction. We are committed to our customers and we always strive to carry out our work in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Through extensive planning and scheduling, we are consistently able to complete contracts on time and on budget. Municipal Public Works
Capitol Underground, Inc. has constructed a wide variety of public works projects for several municipalities in Dane County and neighboring counties. From new sewage district interceptor sewers, to city street reconstruction, to sewer forcemain and lift stations, we have extensive experience in several different types of public works projects. We are consistently able to complete these projects on time and on budget.
Our company’s philosophy is to keep the public informed of the general scope and schedule for the proposed work. Prior to the start of construction, we have hosted meetings with the local residents/business owners to provide information on the project and answer any questions that may arise. We have found these meetings to be very beneficial in providing information to the public regarding these projects.

Capitol Underground places a very high value on the planning of a project before starting. During the planning phase, we work with the client and their engineer to evaluate all the potential construction problems and to develop a schedule that establishes milestones for the project and identifies the sequence of work activities. Throughout construction, our field supervision maintains daily contact with all of the Project Team members, to ensure the schedule is maintained and timely completion is achieved. Our ability to finish projects on time and within budget allows us to provide a seamless transition for project closeout and streamline the turnover process. |
